45 acp at academy today

All the WWB ive seen has been over 20 bucks for a box of 50. No fun at all.

I was at a gun show a couple months ago in Bixby and ran across a guy that had one box of 100 ct .45acp. He wanted $60.00 for it!!! I ran across two boxes of Federal at Wal-mart that night and the dude only charged me for one box. So I got 100 rounds for less than $18.00. I should have gotten a powerball ticket on the way home.

.45 ACP is just getting so expensive to shoot, sucks that it is by far my favorite round. Even reloading it is getting pricey. I have 2 box's of 3000 remington bulk 230gr FMJ's that were purchased around 1990 or so, with a price sticker of just over 100 bucks on it. Pretty sure the same bullets are about 3x the price now.

Damn all the fun gun games making me shoot so much! lol

Rifle ammo has gone way up too. I used to get the winchester grey box for my 300wsm for $25 and now it's $35 and thats if you can find it. I did order some from cabelas for $27.99 a box and free shipping so i bought 200 rounds.
