What’s your favorite 45 Colt powder and load? If it matters, I have a Marlin 1894.

My most used powders in 45 Colt are Titegroup and Bullseye. They make good loads that go from light easy shooting to heavy two-handed all within standard pressure. The top end of standard pressure for 45 Colt is pretty good; 250 grain bullet at 900fps.
For really light loads I've tried Trail Boss. It was fun but for me, Titegroup had that covered so I quit using it.
I tried some really heavy loads using W296. The pressure was too high at the starting loads so I gave up. Probably just needed to increase the powder charge to bring the pressure down (counter intuitive, I know but that's how W296 works sometimes) but wasn't willing to risk it so that was that.

I have known some guys that use Red dot for cowboy shooting
I think its Lyman that has carbine/rifle specific data for pistol cartridges, if you're interested in that route...I mainly use Unique in my 45 colt and 44 mag plinking loads, and 2400 if I want some more speed
