Wasn't there talk of another nationwide rally on Feb.8th?

yeah. no one formally organized anything here in OK as far as I know. according to what i heard for the naitonal rally you are supposed to show at the capitol on the 8th at 10 a.m. Even with nothing organized im gonna be down there with my NRA hat on and see if maybe i cant talk to some of my reps while there.

another rally date ive heard is 223 or 2/23 the "day of resistance". havent heard much about this yet.

I will be there. A little disappointed this seems to have lost steam after the January rally.

I was just wondering the same thing.

If the numbers don't meet or exceed numbers at the previous rally the media and gun grabbers will spin it as a validation of their policies and affirmation that public opinion is on their side.

Which is ironic, considering they did their best to ignore or downplay the large turnouts and many cities/capitals that participated at the last rally.

Yeah..i hope people are not going to let this whole deal just slide. Gun enthusiasts everywhere got all fired up...wrote letters, emails, made phone calls.....now i hope they don't just let it fizzle away, because we're still in trouble here folks! DO NOT LET THIS FALL INTO THE CRACKS or we'll find ourselves going "what the heck just happened???"

KEEP leting you representatives know you aren't going to sleep on this.....we STILL need to be heard. Now more than ever maybe.

Bringing this back up to the top. It is Tuesday now... I'm at the point where I need to make a decision on whether I'm driving all the way down to OKC for this. It does seem like this event needs _something_ to get it going.
