After reading reviews of Metalform, ASC (C-Products), and Pro-mag 9mm AR mags, it seems like it's hit or miss for all of them. What do you guys use and have had good luck with? ASC mags are half the price of the Metalforms, but I've read Metalforms are the go to mags for 9mm ARs. Looking to use them in a dedicated CMMG 9mm lower.

My 9mm sbr runs flawlessly with metalforms on a dedicated mag block. I use to have asc, cproducts , colt but never got around to using them. I'm pretty sure it would run with any of the 9mm metal mags, I'd stay with metal mags.

Metalform work awesomely, and modified IMI Uzi magazines work perfectly for my little machine.

I know Dustin Gaunder's has good luck with C-mags, and his shoots significantly faster than mine.

I believe Colt's are made by Metalform. I know Spike's are, which is where mine came from, but for $42 a whack vs the $5 each that I paid for the Uzi mags? I can live without a bolt hold open feature.

I have no experience with Pmags due to my allergy to plastic magazines, and because I am heterosexual.

I bought this when it was significantly cheaper, and sold half of them, paying for them completely. Still had to machine them, but if you add a 1/32" strip of sheet metal to the back, they fit snugger that Metalforms.

This is how I do mine. Relief for the BHO thingy, slot for the magazine catch, strip of sheet metal to place the magazine more positively under the tiny catch in the front of the mag block (bottom of the bullet guide). The sheet metal part is not necessary. I'm just weird, and it was an experiment gone well.

Was browsing SGAmmo's site and they have some C-products for $12 bucks or so , Id give those a shot , plus you'll see them pretty fast through the mail. I'm gonna order a few with an ammo order just to see how they do.
