I wonder if the anti-gougers ever buy anything at a bargain price and, if so, how they handle the guilt.
I'm not sure what that means. The last time this happened when ammo came back down to earth I purchase a few thousands worth of ammon on my credit card and as I've shot it I replaced it. I could sell all that ammo and maynot have made a dime but I can shoot. You wanted that new car, tv, vacation,gun......okay we all have a limited budget.
Let me clue you in what happen in the last AWB with a grandfather, forget the guns they are a dime a dozen. Purchase the high cap mags. In the 21st century make sure you have several months of ammo if you shoot regular. Banning guns when anyone with a decent machine shop can make them isn't a solution but they sure can tax ammo and compoents out of site like smokes and booze.
That's why I don't sell anything, those too cheap to buy an extra box of 10 dollar ammo when they shoot claim your charging too much when someone wants 16 when you can't get it and there it's uncertain when prices come down and how much it will be. Those are the same people that claim someone is rich because they didn't buy all those new cars, big house, and vacations over the last 40 years and saved some for retirement but they can't retire on SSN so it must be unfair. Maybe they should just take mine greddy gut since you pissed every dime you had when you were making it.
Sorry for the low count post guys, this is directed to those that know better and have 10 times more guns than I do but no ammo...................unreal.
Fair enough. I'm not really thrilled that the panic buying is driving up prices and causing unnecessary (IMHO) scarcity, but I'm not going to judge anybody's motives, whether they're buying, selling, or doing neither. Maybe that guy who just bought a case of .223 to flip just had his first lucky break after a long losing streak; you never can tell...I just think it sucks that people are taking advantage of other peoples fears.
Commodity trade vs goods trade. 2 different markets entirely.
I'm selling what little I sell at normal prices. I refuse to take advantage of somebody.
