How unreal. Would have been a bit more believable if the new shooter was holding a 30-30, .30-06 loosely and received the full free recoil impulse. I’ve had that happen trying to help female family members test fire .20 gauge Rem 870’s, birdshot, then buck. Showed them how, told them how to pull the butt into their shoulder, lean into it, but they just didn’t get it at first. Held loosely, fired then told me “ouch”, with a frown.
