A sad story. I wonder how dicks will respond.

Sadly, the shotgun is what is going to be blamed here... although I would find it ironic if it were the handgun he used to shoot himself with. Either way, the shotgun will be the bad guy.

Thank God no innocents were physically harmed.

Somehow the evil assault rifle will find its way to the front of the blame train. Shotgun, what shotgun?!?!?!?! He shot himself with an "AR". That's how our media will report it.

It's all about attention. Who wants to commit suicide quietly in some lonely old house? This way, he got attention and will be remembered (Good or bad, he still got the attention he sought).

This is all about whack job assh0le$ (Excuse me... The mentally ill who are unstable. Gotta be PC..). Watch the Dems try to spin it around into another example in support of "Gun Control".

I see it as another example that:
1) There have been and always will be mentally ill people out there that are prone to seek attention via violent acts. Our news media guarantees attention to such acts.
2) In our current political climate, acts of violence with guns get more attention than by other means, like self immoliation at the gas pump or jamming a pencil up your nose and banging your head on the table.
3) It's difficult to predict or anticipate who will do what, and when. We cannot legislate crazy away. We can't just lock everyone away or force medication compliance on those that seem odd. Not every mentally ill person commits violent acts.
4) The whole mess serves as a convenient platform for the gun control crowd to further their disarmament agenda. They don't give a rat's ass about mental illness, it's all about the guns.
