ACCU Strut for the Ruger Mini....

So I've recently acquired a Ruger Mini 14 and am looking to some what accessorize it. Didn't know if anyone on here had tried the Accu Strut, if they were worth the ugly that they added to the sleek mini, if they impoved the accuracy, cost effective ect. ect. ect. just general thoughts from anyone that has messed with one.

IMHO they're the single best accessory you can buy for a Mini. In my experience the claims for increased accuracy/repeatability are true. There are 3 different after market struts you can buy. Go with Accu-Strut. It's the original. To me the addition makes the Mini look better. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though.

Which barrel do you have? The older pencil barrel or the newer tapered barrel?
