If you don't like the final price, walk! They may say, "Wait a minute, lets go over these figures again." Or they let you walk away to buy a better vehicle. When I was a boy they had a lot on 2020 S Robinson, $5 down and $5 per week... today those lousy cars would be worth a LOT of money but those were my poor days.

Just look at craigslist and the local to you paper and see what that type truck is selling for.
Advertise it and give yourself a couple hundred lee way to come down on your price.

People think they are getting a deal if they can talk you down a little.
I had a really good concrete mixer for sale and asked $115 for it.. guy offered me 100 bucks and I said come get it.
He arrived and was pleased as punch.
He asked me why I put it in for $115. I said so you could jew me down to 100. I really wanted 100 and if I stuck it in for 115 and you talked me down you feel good and I get what i want.

He said : That makes sense.
