Aguila mini shells

I just picked up a box of 20 of the aguila mini shells. It’s 00 buck. They are half the size of a normal shell and I was able to load 10 into my 88. I could probably fit 12 in my 870. Has any of you used these before? I have been wondering what kind of performance they have.

I owned a keltec ksg for a short period of time and considered buying those shells to fill it up. Never did. I think @druryj bought some the other day. Maybe he has a range report?

They usually have 6 pellets instead of 9.

They should work in Mossbergs due to the style of the action. They have an adapter you can put in an 870 to run them...

Less of both. It is not high brass but not short either. And like stated less shot

What makes them not work in an 870? That’s pretty amazing that the 88 will run them but not the 870. Just another reason why I love the 88. If I was gonna grab one shotgun it would be it. It’s light and the recoil isn’t bad. I have a pistol grip and adjustable stock on it.

Kept double feeding and or flipping backwards in mine. Great in an over and under though.
