There was a once a Simpson's episode where Sideshow Bob ran for mayor against Quimby, and ran an attack TV ad against him - the voiceover went something like this:

‎"Mayor Quimby released Sideshow Bob on parole, a career criminal who has been found guilty of attempted murder FOUR times - do we really want someone this soft on crime in the mayor's office?". Then the really fast 'fine print' voice at the end says "Paid for by Sideshow Bob for Mayor".

Now, witness Kenneth Corn's attack ad on Todd Lamb:

He's attacking Lamb for releasing the "shady" bill from conference committee when HE (Mr. Corn) later voted for the bill!!!!!!!! What a piece of work this guy is - I'm voting Lamb for sure - that's reason enough for me.

Just more of the same from politicians. I really believe that some of the politicians we have think we are a bunch of unwashed, illiterate hicks that can't pick up a newspaper or google anything. I can see why so many people are discouraged or disgusted and just "unplug", ignoring the whole political process.

One and only bump - any comments on this race, guys and gals? Corn seems like a real fecal chunk for running this. Anyone comment on who is the better candidate? Typically I pick Ds at state level (except governor this time around), and Rs at federal level, but of course subject to knowing individual things about the candidates that makes me deviate from this.

Sounds like normal political BS to me especially coming from a Democrat. Sorry if that offends any Democrat voters here but during many years of political watching I have seen far more of this type stuff from the Dems then anyone else.

What is even worse is that DA Prader even went on the news calling Corn's campain ad a lie, but he is still running it.

Well, hey. The Democrats are really getting desperate this year. Here the last couple of years they have had Congressional control PLUS the presidency, passing what is practically their IDEAL agendas and have had to watch and see the country go downhill right before their eyes and in spite of their efforts.

So, the obvious tactic is to cry out, "They (Republicans) are criminals, tyrants, ignorant, self-centered, and just down-right naughty people. Vote for me. (No, sorry. I can't distance myself from Obama.)"

All I can say is bring on November 2!!! Sadly, I know a lot of Democrats are good, honest, and "somewhat" conservative, but unless they take back their party, this last two years will show their party to be the party of Socialism.
