But, hear me out, by that logic, the world is predominantly members of Westboro Baptist...

ie: All Islam extremists are Muslim, but not all Muslims are extremists

All good points. But, when 9/11 happened, and we decided to go after the Taliban, France wanted nothing to do with it. They were basically shamed into helping their "allies" by the rest of the U.N. I may be mistaken, but I think Germany was also dragged into it.

Let's not forget that without the French, we would not have won our independence when we did. I can't blame them, following Thomas Jeffersons own quote "Trade with all countries, align with non."

Maybe true about winning our independence but they were late coming to the party. Better late than never. And by the way, the only reason they helped out is because they hated the British much more than how much they care about America.

I know some French people. I like them. I knew a WW2 French war bride, that promised to make me some escargot. Unfortunately a stroke got her before she could fulfill her promise. I still miss her.
