On my first day of school at Gonzales Elementary, our teacher told us to bow our heads and pray to Jesus for a candy bar. We did, with no results.
Then she told us to bow our heads and pray to Karl Marx for a candy bar. When we finished our prayers, there was a candy bar.

If we could be serious for a moment, you can't legally compel a student to recite the plege of allegience to the flag in any school district in this nation. It's the result of a court decision in the 1940's. The Jehova's Witnesses consider the flag to be a graven image. Their book won't allow them to pledge allegience to such a thing. Religion thing. Let their whackadoo chirrens be exempt from the pledge. That was the judgement of the court.

So he was required to participate in a lesson in Spanish class. Why would a guy like him take Spanish class? Taking Spanish class is a voluntary activity. Didn't he know that they might require him to participate in a lesson such as this? Learning words. Learning Spanish words in Spanish class. What's it leading to? Oh.My.God.
