American Student Punished for Refusing to Recite Mexican Pledge

If we could be serious for a moment, you can't legally compel a student to recite the plege of allegience to the flag in any school district in this nation. It's the result of a court decision in the 1940's. The Jehova's Witnesses consider the flag to be a graven image. Their book won't allow them to pledge allegience to such a thing. Religion thing. Let their whackadoo chirrens be exempt from the pledge. That was the judgement of the court.

Hey man, I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. Kids can't help what their parents tell them is right and wrong! I do think no one should be FORCED to pledge allegiance to anything. Some people are all about freedom until it's something they think people should do.
