The high price of ammo and availability has impacted my range visits. I used to visit the range at least once a week, and shot 100 plus rounds per visit. Now, I go to the range once every three months, and shoot 50 rounds or less. It's ironic that it takes me longer to drive to the range than I spend shooting. As for the cost, I understand the argument of the scarcity of materials to product ammo; but, is there really any incentive to produce more ammo when you can capture the amounts that ammo is being sold now?
