just left Cabellas - N OKC -- they have a truck load of ammo - all kinds all shelves FULL - prices appear a little better too
Something, something grasshopper and the ant. There are two types of people in this world. The prepared and the ones who cry "price gouging."
demand for 223 might be up but it is back near pre-covid pricesYou wanna know why ammo is so expensive and so hard to find? Look at some of these sales stats from ammo.com:

Demand for some calibers in some states (5.56/.223 in TX for example) is up well over 1000% over the past 18 months.
Nobody is forcing them to buy anything. It's freedom of choice.Laughing my ass off at gouging complaints. People are willing to pay the stupid tax and buy at a premium. There's an Aero lower in the classifieds that is selling for about 40 bucks more than a quick search and the first result found online (and yes they are in stock). The only bad part about "gouging" is that people are taking advantage of others from our own community.
That's pretty much what I said too.Nobody is forcing them to buy anything. It's freedom of choice.
No it's not. People are hoarding and reselling after creating an artificial shortage.Nobody is forcing them to buy anything. It's freedom of choice.
And how does that take away someone's freedom to buy or not buy what these "hoarders" (at least you didn't say "neckbeards") are selling? Every single day I choose to pay a price for something or not pay the price. No one has taken away my freedom to buy or not buy. My choice to not buy creates an opportunity for someone else to buy that item.No it's not. People are hoarding and reselling after creating an artificial shortage.
