I know FOX news is largely friendly on our 2A rights, but anchor Greg Jarret said that MSRs have a bullet button built into them that when pushed instantly turns them full automatic or something and instantly turns them into assault rifles and that this is what the San Bernidino jihadi's had done. He went on to say that a thousand rounds is an astronominical amount (he'd **** if he saw my stash). He was being interviewed by a female FOX anchor as if he was some kind of expert. She gave him some funny looks which makes me think she knows more about guns than him.

Well the California Bullet Button is real...sounds like they removed theirs and replaced with normal magazine releases. LOL.

I read one report that said doing so makes the rifles "more powerful".

The amount of firearms ignorance in the general public and media is astounding.

If it was Katie Pavlich or Dana Loesch they likely do know more than he does.

They probably say these things because they are not exposed to real weapons like most people in Oklahoma are.

I have got to stop letting things like wrong sound for a weapon that is suppressed, wrong round count before a magazine change, wrong descriptions of certain weapons, and what a weapon will and will not do, on TV and movies bother me. It seems to bother my wife, when I mumble the correct information to myself. My biggest complaint is they spend so much money to make a movie/ TV show, why not spend a little more and get a weapons consultant/expert that really knows the correct information.

Got to love that semi-auto, lever-action rifle Starlord was carrying in Jurassic World. That drove me nuts!!!

The woman interviewing him was blond, but I didn't get her name. I've only seen her recently.

It was Jenna Lee. She's married to a former Navy SEAL officer. After watching this I'm sure she knows more about firearms and their use too and she really didn't need any help making him look ignorant on the subject.
