A bunch of us on here survived the great U.N. round-up of July 2009. We survived those blue helmeted troops patroling the streets of our cities. None of us went to the FEMA camps (that was a close one). We survived the comet too. You keep telling us over and over and over, but we're still here. Maybe some day we'll learn.

I pray with every ounce of my being we will never learn.

It was three comets dude, not one.

One got really close on our blind side. (1.4 million miles)

If it had been as big as a football feild, we would not be here right now.

We actually got pretty lucky.

1.4 million mile pass by a comet in astrological terms is the equivalant to the distance and speed between NASCAR racers at Talladega on the 10 lap. (about 3 inches @ 197-205 MPH)

Hallys comets closest approach to earth back in 1986 was 93 million kilometers
