Alot of you won't remember him, but Dandy Don Merideth was a riot! He used to a complete crackup on Monday Night Football.

I remember him well. Don played in an era were the money was ok... but effort and heart were still treasured assets in the NFL.

I remember watching Dandy Don playing for the Cowboys. He later made the Monday Night Football broadcast team, the best ever. He constantly picked at Howard Cosell....funny stuff.

Yeah, that's what I remember him from was the MNF broadcasts. I was just too young to have been paying attention when he was actually playing ball. I'll never forget his signature "turn out the lights" comments on MNF.

I had an uncle that went to college with him. They had dorms very close together. The dude was just a hilarious jokester. The stories were hilarious.
