Somebody better tell the OKC police chief then. He thinks he can store it for 90 days.

Also, if it's not stored, how do the officers view it at all?

In Ohio, the system reads the plate, then runs a LEADS check. If there's no hit, the data is dumped. If there's a hit, the data stays on the screen. The county sheriff was using these up there, but Columbus PD didn't have the resources to keep up with calls for service, much less hunting stolens like this.

It was a trick question. If it's displayed, it's stored somewhere. Even if only in a temporary manner.

Okc's stores locally for 14 days, and on their server for 90 days. However, their is another 3rd party server that can be (not used currently) that it can cross reference. This is the one y'all should be concerned with. This 3rd party company has kids driving around like google maps, PI's and repo companies etc can pay for access to search for the spouses or delinquent payee an frequent locations times etc.
