Another reason to boycott the Walton Family.

I was told by a Walmart manager that the selection of ammo and sporting goods in general relies on the department manager in part.
I’ve been in Walmart’s that sell tons of shooting supplies including reloading components and presses.
Ours in Ponca City has one 20’ aisle in the superstore of mostly shotgun ammo and junk that nobody buys. Pretty sad.

I think it's true too. When I was working up there you could go into the Walmart in Liberal, KS and buy ANY 12ga or 20ga shotshell you could possibly want. Steel, buck, light target, heavy target bird loads, slugs, steel, bismuth, you name it. And several .410s, 16ga and 28ga too. They had literally pallets in the isles surrounding the sporting goods area. Back home in Moore you could find a couple of different bulk packs of 12ga bird and maybe a 20 ga bird load if they weren't out. If you wanted to stock up and buy 4 or 5 100rd bulk packs you might clean their shelf completely and it was likely you wouldn't be able to get that many. Sometimes there was none to be had at all. Even during August before dove season!

I go to Walmart because they have The best gluten free selection around here. It is also cheaper than firelake grocery on many things. There are so many things to boycott and I can’t possibly remember them all. But the big ones like Gillette I do. Yes I know their proctor and gamble company owns many different things. If it’s a big name i can remember it.

Is my money, and I spend it where ever I want. But I usually try my best to avoid those places that are anti 2nd amendment or have some BS liberals views, you know no gender bull crap ect, ect. I try to keep buying at a minimum from wally world, but also know that sometimes I will have to shell out the dough at their stores. I quit buying from Dicks just because they are Dicks. No more Gillette products in my house, my toxic masculinity don't allow me to purchase them. No Yeti products anyways they are overprice. Nike brand is off limit in my house, and I won't buy it for the grand kids either. I quit listening to NRP station, hardly watch any NFL game ........blah.....blah....blah

While I fully understand the thoughts behind boycotts, I choose not to participate for a couple of reasons.

Primarily, if a boycott is successful, the people who suffer are the employees.

My second reason is pretty simple also. If I own a business, I am free, for the most part, to make management decisions on how I run my business. That is right in line with the other freedoms we enjoy in this great country. Also, the same business, for the most part, doesn't decide not to do business with me just because my political thoughts do not agree with theirs.

Fortunately, for the employee's sake, most boycotts fail to do much disruption to the business.

My final reason, is that I just can't remember all the companies I'm supposed to hate!

I shop at WalMart multiple times a week, own stock in them and Sam Walton is my mom's cousin. You can spend more at other stores for the same Chinese junk that WalMart sells or you can piss your money away. When it gets down to the nitty gritty their business practices are the same as everyone else. Make money. That's what it's all about, making money.

It seems that making money isn't all they are about, now it would appear that having a political agenda is also part of their business practice. A political agneda that goes against the grain of the very demographic that made them what they are. If it were not for the small conservitive communities in the early days that supported them then they would not be what they are today.

Politics. And you'll make note of the fact he didn't say Walmart would quit selling long guns or ammo. He not did say WalMart was anti-2nd Amendment. WalMart's customer base isn't just conservatives. You gotta pander to both sides. Or you could be a dick like Dick's. It's not working out so well for them.
