I heard a term somewhere...YouTube maybe, and said in jest...that referred to those infatuated with the 6.5 "Creedmorons".
I’m a millennial and only had a 6.5 for a single deer season.
sold it and just stuck with .308.

Old school 6.5x55 is tough to beat. My wife's has taken plenty of deers...
