any fossil guys on here? I need some help identifying one. "Rock not watches"

I found this in a creek containing a ton of shale I believe. it looks way to uniform to be just a rock to me. any chance this is a really big fossil possibly worth some cash?

You're probably right, a mammoth or mastodon molar.
