Dubs, that appears to be a piece of hematite or ironstone. they are very brittle on the edges - that's chatter, I don't believe it was intentionally modified by human hands. The patterns all over the surface of it are completely natural. You will find a lot of similar pieces around certain waterways in Oklahoma, especially the Arkansas River. Aboriginals did use similar stone to make things out of (gorgets, celts, pendants, etc), but generally they were ground down.

I found this shell at work the other day wanted to see if anyone can identify it
That is a Mollusk,.. Subphylum Cyrtosoma, Class Gastropoda. Looks like Turritella,.. lived in Oligocene or Holocene. If not Turritella,.. a Gastropod for sure. Trust me,... I'm a geologist.
Is it worth anything? I was planning on dropping it in my salt water aquarium for decoration
Probably not,.. But I'm a Petroleum Geologist so I really wouldn't know the value of it. It's been a long time since my graduate level Paleontology classes.
