[QUOTE="adamsredlines, post: 3596535, member: 40561"] IDK if I've ever posted this here before, but if not here's a fitting place. When I grew up in Memphis, my neighbor Mr. Luzader had a 1935 Auburn 851 Phaeton...which is what got me big into cars and later Hot Wheels. I was the minority in that neighborhood and didnt have many if any kid friends my age so I hung out with Mr. Luzader while he tinkered with his Auburn. Needless to say, it left an impression to have such a neighbor. I originally got into Hot Wheels because they made an Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg...and I never thought I'd be able to afford a real one. Well..now my ACD HW Collection is worth what I could buy a pretty nice Auburn or Cord for...so I guess I was wrong. Mr Luzader with his car in the driveway in Memphis.
