High quality medicine is expensive. The drugs and equipment we use are the same as you will find in any human hospital.
Emergency hospitals are more expensive, their overhead is higher, particularly staffing is more expensive (most people don't want to work nights and week-ends, unless paid substantially more).

I am a veterinarian. I personally generally have a plan "A" , the best we can do for your pet, and a plan "B", a cheaper option. But bear in mind, cheaper doesn't just cost less, it's less than optimal care.

I have unfortunately been through this multiple times with sick and dying pets. I got raped for over $700 by an emergency place on 41st between Memorial and Sheridan that did nothing but let my cat die over a 2-3 hour period. I have had a vet keep a sick cat for 3 days then call me and tell me to come pay the bill and then 2 seconds later say "Oh, your cat just died". We were using Marina for the past couple of years but have found the waiting time and poor care to be too much. They just milked me for appt's and money as my Maine Coon died and they really didn't do anything but give us false hope. I would like to know more about the vet on Gilcrease please.

Are you available on weekends? Where is your clinic? I live in south BA, would rather use an OSAer if possible.

Are you available on weekends? We are open 8-noon on Saturday. One of us takes phone calls until 10pm every night. Where is your clinic? 111th and Elm, behind Quik Trip I live in south BA, would rather use an OSAer if possible. Thank you.

My wife paid the e-room $500 to kill her cat. That guy on gilcrease is supposed to be a great vet. He went to school with a friend of mines father.

WOW! $500.00 to kill a cat. Ok people, I am offering my services at a lot less than $500.00, and I offer money back quarantee that it will be quick and painless.

Do you guys do any Labrador acl work??
I see a ton of Labs and even own one, but refer all orthopedic surgery, that's just not were my interests lie. If we are talking about a working Lab, then I would strongly recommend an actual surgeon (Dr. Dean or Dr. Rickers here in the Tulsa area).

If you are willing to spend that anount of money on a vet visit for your pet you should probably look into purchasing pet healthcare insurance.

this! i wished i would have known how labs are the poster children for acl problems. The next lab i get will have it, if i get another one. Dr. Rickers i believe is the one who preformed the surgery at woodland west. About 1 year ago, and my lab has started limping on the same leg just like before the surgery. I have to draw a line somewhere ive got 3200.00 in the leg now thats hurting him again, and they said most likely the other leg with do it as well.

Woodland west will take care credit too..
