If there is a car I want to buy I call or e mail and ask for directions and ask when a good time to come see it. Chit chat and small talk sometimes works on the internet. Most of my cars were bought as fixer uppers. I have lost count of how many but when i was 24 years old I had bought over 250 vehicles and had a piece of notebook paper with all of those cars written down. I do research a car when i see one kind that peaks my interest. I will google it . say 1995 Pontiac vibe issues. Or pontiac vibe recalls. Insert your own search vehicle of course. NO centrifugal transmissions. NO V6 vehicles unless they are Rear wheel drive and better be from the 70's or early 80's. Must be easy to get to water pump and timing belt etc. I would just rather build a basket case. Bought hundreds of vehicles from wrecker auctions. Some were just for the parts.
