    Looks like a Jaguar D Type. Reproduction no doubt. You wouldn't be in traffic with an original.

    I'm pretty sure I took that car for a spin around the block back in the 1980s. If I remember correctly it is a Maserati (birdcage) around the 200 or 300 series.

    I think it is a Jaguar kit car. I think the Birdcage has a taller windscreen and different rear end. Maserati Birdcage.jpg

    I have seen it several times and I’m with the D type jag thoughts. Likely a replica, but it sure doesn’t have a VW engine unless he has a recording of something much meatier! I’d trade a couple of boxes of 380 for a chance to drive it.
