In 1974 I had three. Rem 700 Classic, Ruger M77 & Browning BLR. The BLR was my favorite. Used them on Colorado deer and on a sheep hunt. Very enjoyable shooting. Handloaded for them. Not my favorite caliber but close.
Used to but never took it out really, so it wound up getting sold. I think I've still got bullets for it even.
I have owned one for a while and very enjoyable to shoot. Was built for me buy a gunsmith friend on a mauser action with Timney trigger and Mcgowen barrel and a McMillen thumbhole laminated stock. I handload for it. Been awhile since I have shot it. Top is 257 Roberts
