Imagine if the first sword prototype every time you swung it the blade fell off and you had to “reload” your sword with a new blade. But I’m sure you guys have already thought the same thing

Definitely could. Just weld the hilt of a good broadsword to the barrel. It won’t affect the accuracy much.
