Having a Right means that you can do it regardless of what others think. Also, having a Right absolutely means you should do it, or you will lose said Right. Being free is not easy, because weak minded people will worry about what people think versus being free.

Like you sir have said so many times in this thread ."if you say so" lol!

Like I said keep it up and see what happens. When the power shifts we might still have the 2nd Amendment on paper but they'll effectively regulate it out of existence. Stupid stunts like this just galvanize the public against our cause. Walking through a public park with an AR15 slung over your shoulder isn't exercising your rights it's putting your ignorance on display.

AMEN!

I have seen this crap played out over something completely different, but the same result will happen. When the vape industry started those who were advocates told manufactures not to do stupid stuff like name their juice lines after children's cereal, or use images associated with said cereal. Did they listen? No. Now we have many states calling for flavor bans. So keep backing idiots like these and watch what little gains we have made in loosening restricts on the 2A disappear and bans put back in place.

The vaping industry stepped on their own junk. None of the arms manufacturers are taking their products for a walk in the park.

As I said, keep yelling "Its his right!" all you want. Stunts like this just drive the unknowning public closer to agreeing with the libbies and willing to accept another ban. Hell, you may as well go out there and march with the libbies if you support behavior like this.

I give these "unknowing public" people no credence, pay them no mind, and don't ever attempt to cater to their ignorance. For all intents I believe they are insignificant. They sway left and right upon whims and will follow whomever or whatever is in the spotlight at the moment. For these people, all you can say is, "It's a right!" Until they themselves put out the effort to educate themselves, I don't much care what they think.

I seriously doubt they vote. If there were enough of them and they had voted over the last couple hundred years, this country would have fallen long ago and we'd be disarmed. We'd be lucky if we could argue over a right to keep and bear torches and pitchforks.

If you believe that then you are out of touch with reality. Those people do vote, they sign up on petitions against the AR, and join groups like Moms Demand Action and other anti gun groups. Those people that you pay no attention to are the ones who will vote your right to own an AR out of existence. The more middle of the road people we can gather and educate, the more voices we have on our side. But instead, you simply say ignore them, do whatever you want and damn the consequences. That is very short sighted and, as I said before, just paves the road for the libbies to walk on towards bans and confiscations.

And I brought up the vaping industry because many manufacturers had the same attitude as you. Do whatever they want and damn the consequences. Well now we are faced with the consequences.
