WAIT!! IT'S REAL!!! I listed a Glock 23 and baited the guy along and he ended up sending me a cashier's check for $2100 or so...! I had him send it to my work address which he should have googled. I have the check over my desk still on the bulletin board. The check had one address, the envelope had a different and the bank had yet a third.

He e-mailed me and said he alerted the feds. In broken engrish of course....

I signed up with some selling app and tried to sell a couple of things, got so many scam emails and contacts similar to that and all kinds of BS stories, I finally said, "Screw it" and deleted the amp.

Wasn't worth my time to mess with for selling things.

Other than getting flagged for over priced (bs anyways) on two separate listings this year, armslist has been a positive experience for me.
Has been for me as well, though I did have one guy agree to meet when I was selling a Ruger SR9, gave me a squirrely feeling. He started asking about assault rifles and if I could get some. Had to bug out.
