WAIT!! IT'S REAL!!! I listed a Glock 23 and baited the guy along and he ended up sending me a cashier's check for $2100 or so...! I had him send it to my work address which he should have googled. I have the check over my desk still on the bulletin board. The check had one address, the envelope had a different and the bank had yet a third.

I signed up with some selling app and tried to sell a couple of things, got so many scam emails and contacts similar to that and all kinds of BS stories, I finally said, "Screw it" and deleted the amp.

Got a call a couple of weeks ago telling me that my "Windows 10 key had expired and to call x-number to renew it". WTF?
Fishing!! Happened to my Dad and took me a 30 minute conversation to explain to him it was BS!!!
My grandmother fell for that.... cost her a few hundred bucks.
Other than getting flagged for over priced (bs anyways) on two separate listings this year, armslist has been a positive experience for me.

Has been for me as well, though I did have one guy agree to meet when I was selling a Ruger SR9, gave me a squirrely feeling. He started asking about assault rifles and if I could get some. Had to bug out.
