The sequester is not a scalpel, the sequester is an axe.

An axe is what we need, but I think an axe would cut a whole lot more than the sequester did. There aren't many government agencies out there than can't trim a few percent out of their budgets without doing much if any harm. Our government is full of fat just waiting to be trimmed.

It also shows what the House leadership thinks of our people in the military. Everybody signed-up for it. 20% across the board. The Republicans signed-up for it and here it is.

You must mean the Senate. The House has passed several budget reduction bills and the Senate has sat on their hands...

Congress isn't choosing where those cuts are made, the administration is. You can't tell me there is no government waste that could be cut instead of making the most outrageous and public cuts possible.

Plain and simple...the cuts should come from the top...OH ..10% of the politicians,,,Or across the board., after ,they are the ones not doing theyre job.....xxxx...

I thought it was 20% of the budget increase? Hardly 20% of the budget...
