I'm seriously thinking about buying into AMC tomorrow. I've missed the boat on AME and I think it's a loser in the end but it could be a decent daytrade tomorrow with all the pushback against Robinhood and others. Hell, this is a bipartisan issue if there ever was one. Leftists like AOC and GOP'ers like Ted Cruz on the same page? :ooh2: My thinking on AMC, is that while still quite risky, it could well end up being a decent long play. COVID is largely responsible for its collapse and with the vaccine rolling out and shutdowns now becoming quite "un-PC" they should be picking up nicely in the coming year. They've already knocked $900 million off their debt with equity swaps and issues, plus help from the reddit crowd and are thinking of more issues while the price is up. The CEO has stated that bankruptcy is already off the table for all of 2021. It's down 56% from open to close today. I'm definitely watching because some really high profile people are hammering the crackdown on trading these stocks and Robinhood is being beaten down a bit and is reopening some trading on these. It's an interesting situation for sure!
