I am looking for places to ride ATV's in eastern Oklahoma. I have been to Gruber many times as well as the Canadian river near Stigler and the Eufaula dam. I am looking for something within a maximum of 2 hours from Muskogee. Prefer something in the woods, not sand.

Please send me some ideas of you know of any good areas. They can even be in west Arkansas. Please provide an internet site link if available.

Thanks

I was going to reccomend the river bottoms below Muldrow near the WD Mayo Dam but you said no sand...That place sure is a hoot though. I have been riding these since I was old enough to pull a throttle.

+1 on Cass Arkansas.
You'll be riding in the Boston Mts. Also known as White Rock. More trails than you can imagine and it's legal!
We ride the Mill Creek trail complex and never get tired of it. Been doing it for over 20yrs now. I ran my first enduro race there in 1989 and they're still doing it.
If you go, stop by the local ranger station and get some of their specific maps. You'll need them. It's easy to get very lost.
Lots of camping off of Mill Creek road.

Here's a link to some maps of NW AR and SE OK:
