[Canadian County investigators are searching for evidence after a possible shooting along Interstate 40 near Hinton.
Officials said they are trying to determine if someone was actually shooting at a deputy's vehicle or random vehicles.

Capt. Kevin Ward told Eyewitness News 5 that a man in a truck was driving westbound on I-40 when something shattered the front passenger window.

Happened to me once driving through St. Louis. Bullet came from my left as I drove West down I-70. It struck the upper left corner of my windsheild. If I had been going any faster or his aim been any better...

I traveled that stretch of I 40 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. One of the local paper headlines said "Sniper Targeting I 40 Motorists". I am interested in knowing what is going on, but that newspaper article was full of ********.
