Backyard plinking with C02 pistol

It's been a while since I've done some shooting with a good ol pellet gun and since I recently aquired my grandpa's old Hammerli single shot model D .177 caliber C02 pistol I decided to give it a whirl.

I still need to move the rear sight up and to the left a little bit, but you can see the large ragged hole I created with 50 rounds from 30' away. Just thought I'd share a cheap way to have a little fun and work on trigger control. This gun is more accurate than I am for sure.

Hammerli are known for accuracy... bonified air gun nut here
since getting on OSA and into firearms more... my airguning has gone down the tubes.

I don't think I've ever shot a more accurate air gun before, pistol or rifle.
I really like this Hammerli. I remember shooting it as a kid but haven't touched it since then.

I may start spending more time shooting this since I can actually afford it.
