Benefit Steel match rules

Trace McWhirt Benefit Steel Match July 24th at USSA
$15 to enter
$10 for additional guns.
$5 to rerun any string of fire.
4 - Steel challenge Stages with 3 runs each and all times count. A rerun can be bought for $5 to replace a bad time. No holsters required guns can be in bag and run will start from the ready position
1 - Pro-Am stage 23 pieces of steel with a par time yet to be determined. Guns will start at the ready position all reloads on the table 10 rounds in the magazine at start signal. A rerun can be purchased for $5 to replace a bad time.
1 – Surprise stage yet to be announced.

Overall Match winner receives a Shot gun. There will be prizes for winners of different classes.
Open class= center fire and rim fire
Iron sight= center fire and rim fire
Rim fire rifle Iron and optic

Any idea on total rounds John?

83 rounds before the surprise stage if you dont miss and hit all the pro am targets. (only a few shooters in the US can do that)

I would say if you bring 150 rounds, you will have plenty

I don't suppose it will be possible to shoot both the benefit match and the rifle match will it?

There will be time for you to shoot both matches I think. We will shoot till 2pm i think. John will have to confirm on the stop time.

We will start shooting at 9am. We wont be sending any new shooters out after 2pm as it stands now. The match should end and around 3pm. Thats when we will start the awarding the raffle, silent auction, and match winners.

Rim fire rifles on steel is ok. Center fire rifles on pistol steel is a nogo. Sorry.
