I have owned two. Thunder 380 and Thunder 380 +. Also one in 45. The 380s I tried with different manufacturers amunition ,round nose, hollowpoint. wadcutter style and didn't have any problems. It liked everything. Accuracy was pretty good but I didn't shoot more than 5 to 7 yards as I figured I would be using it for defense. Good little guns but the spare magazines are pricey. The thunder plus holds 15 rounds instead of the standard one holding seven. I got the thunder plus because I was wanting something smaller and compact. Traded my Bersa Thunder 45 for it. Thing is it is almost the same exact size as my Glock 23. So I ended up giving the 380 thunder plus to my dad and the other one to my mother. Nothing wrong with them as to why I give them away, I just preferred my Glock. I had initially bought my Bersa thunder 45 when the Clinton gun ban was still on so you couldn't buy anything that held more than 10 rounds unless the mags were grandfathered old and over priced. It was a good gun but it didn't like blazer ammunition or hollow points. When the Clinton weapons ban ended I ended up getting guns that held more rounds and it went towards the back of the safe and eventually like stated above I traded it off. All in all I like Bersa firearms. Good bang for the buck and quality pieces
