OOPS! In reality, prostitution is rampant in almost every town with escort services, sometimes openly advertised.
Lot lizards in truck stops is the key term, and so on.

Not sure about that since it seems most churches and church going snooty ladies certainly accept adultery and fornication without much problem. But I guess it's easier to explain how their daughters, grand daughters, and nieces with multiple failed marriages or several kids by x number of different men are victims as where hookers are "bad girls".

That's certainly true too. I was referring to more of the "olden days" mostly. Like pre prohibition. Snooty ladies and their henpecked husbands. Church still plays a big part in that throughout the bible belt. More dry counties in the south than anywhere else
