I do not have those brands.
Just wondering why those and not an inexpensive savage axis.
I have 2 of the Axis rifles in .223 and would not trade them for anything, they are that accurate.
Here is a 100 yard group I was working up loads for my first Axis in .223.

LC 13 cases 25.5gr varget .258" center to center 60gr V-max.
It is the only gun I own that has shot under 1" 3 shot group at 300 yards.

Good groups.
Never owned a Savage. I just went with what I am familiar with. I did not list a Remington because those seem to be out of my price range anymore.
...I’ll do some research on the Savage.
Thanks

I have a 223 built on a Remington 700 action with Shilen bull barrel, blueprinted action and bolt face. It’s in a Stockys synthetic stock with the full aluminum block which floats the barrel and beds the action. Moa scope rail and trigger has been worked

This is likely out of my price range. My budget is under $600.
Thanks

Black Friday a few years ago I got my first .223 Bolt rifle the Savage Axis for $150
I could not say no to that.
I tossed stones at the .223 round because I was in the bigger is better for killing crowd.

After much testing and many deer and other critters killed with the .223 I must say it puts them down faster and cleaner than the big 30's.
All my savage rifles shoot under MOA to 500 yards.
Even the little .223 with 55V-Max

Academy Sports can sometimes get what you need if it is not in stock
