It's a 15 yard penalty and the flags should have come out way before they did, and there's 8 seconds left in a 14 point game and Pittsburgh was backed up against their own endzone.
Garrett is a bush league piece of ****.

I'm not following your point here. Don't play until the game is over because there's no way to lose?
Rudolph wasn't driven into the ground, that's all I was commenting on.

I'm saying Garret is also going to be fined for the hit and contact prior to all the ******** starting, because it was unnecessary roughness on the QB, which they have taken great steps in the rules this year to protect. These guys are professional athletes, they have a PA, and they have a unwritten code, and the hit on Rudolph was bush. If anyone thinks otherwise it tells me all I need to know about that person.

I'm also saying Garrett has a history of this, he's been fined somewhere around $50k so far this year, and he's a bush league piece of ****.

Whether or not he was driven into the ground isn't germane to the conversation. Garrett instigated it with the contact and trying to injure or inflict pain on an opposing player when the outcome was not in doubt. It's bush league ****.

It reminds me of the LB from Texas a few years ago that was firing across the line and hitting OU players in the victory formation. It's bush.

The hit was unnecessary roughing the passer. Rudolph’s hand was trapped under Garrett’s face guard and Garrett wouldn’t let him up. He didn’t kick at Garrett until Garrett was already trying to yank his helmet off.

Garrett deserved to be suspended for the rest of the season. Pounced deserved to pay a fine, but the 3 game suspension was unwarranted. He was just protecting his QB from a completely out of control Garrett.

Rudolph wasn't driven into the ground, he was bear hugged and taken down, then he got pissed off.
No excuse for Garrett.
I agree. The hit to the QB was not late and was bear hugged to the ground. Rudolph QB had his hand in Garrett face and tried to rip off helmet and that upset Garrett to rip off QB helmet. Should have never swung the helmet at anyone.

Garrett had Rudolph hit and didn't know if QB got rid of the ball, fumbled, kept it, or what. Took to the ground like he should. Even # 53 Schobert a bit after Garrett had a line on QB and gave a hit. It was all good football with a QB trying to miraculously score and hope for an onside kick recovery and another score to win a game with 8 seconds left.

Put the crack pipe down
I guess you didn't watch the play, just heard about it from someone?

Take the hate blinders off guys. Rudolph was tired of getting pounded on and then when Garrett hugged and took him to the ground, he got pissed about it. Not hard to see or figure out. Garrett lost his sh*t after that.
