\The 15-22 buffer tube is mil-spec size. It's actually a plastic fake buffer tube though. Mil-spec stocks will fit on it.
Real AR triggers fit in them also which is a plus if you want a fast steel shooting gun
Thanks for the info. I was wondering if a slide-fire stock would fit on a 15-22; with most everything on the rifle being plastic, I assume the rifle weighs less overall than a comparable 5.56 AR? That would aid in getting the proper bump-fire technique needed with a slide-fire stock, considering the .22 LR's low recoil. If it could be done, you'd have a "full auto" AR firing a cheap caliber, all issues of the .22's current ammo scarcity aside.
