I can remember my dad being mad the sparrows had built nest all around the 2-story old farmhouse we had - he got a box of Winchester bird shot and almost dark he got our neighbor to hold a flashlight on the nest and he went around the house shooting birds out of the nest with the old single shot Remington 22 we had.

I have these little NAA revolvers (one LR & one WMR) that are handy to carry when doing yard work. I keep them loaded with 2 rounds of shot shells and 3 HPs. Good for copperheads or any other pest I may encounter and they’re small enough they don’t snag on things like tree branches.

I used bunches and bunches of the crimped shotshells in the smoothbore Remington garden gun...folk shooting encapsulated shot in rifled barrels just have no idea how effective a shotshell can really be from an actual shotgun, them as folk using birdshot in their rifled slug guns and calling shotloads a waste except at near contact distance. I assume the video pointed out the crimped loads for smoothbore only.

PS- watched video, and can only say his results are from a Henry where they don't seem to have down boring a rimfire shotgun barrel, and he and anyone else might get decent results in rifled barrels with unencapsulated shotshells, but the capsules are to prevent leading of rifled barrels, and really only purpose, and the spin it imparts to shot opens patterns in general in same rifled barrels. If leading barrel of a rifle is of no concern, then go right ahead...it generally will do better than capsules, while capsules in smoothbore often TOO tight and Glaser effect in close.
