C&W singer and song writer Mel Tillis dies at 85

Country Music Hall of Famer and Grand Ole Opry member Mel Tillis died early Sunday morning in Ocala, Fla. The suspected cause of death is respiratory failure.

Cindy (one of Mel's daughters) is a close friend, married to my brother-in-laws brother .
Mel has been ill for some time and his health kept failing.
He was a great guy and did a lot of kind things that never got talked about.
We'll miss him.
