2024 Deer Season Stories/Pics/Etc.

I went out Saturday evening and saw about 20 deer. Most were this year's fawns and some older does. Had one decent young buck come in grunting and checking does, but I chose to let him walk. I'm hoping he makes it through the season and I get the exact same chance next year.

Only dinks on camera last night and this morning
Decided to shoot a big doe and then just continue sitting.

Just as soon as i killed a doe, i got my cell phone picts from my other place, where i almost hunted. wouldn't you know it my shooter buck showed up at 930a, again, at 11:30am-1pm with a doe he wasn't leaving, and then two other 2-1/2 years old, from noon - 2pm. I quickly realizing what was happening i went and got into that stand, spooked two bucks walking in, and only saw a spike from 2pm-6pm... way it goes.
clearly she was ready... He has been MIA since.
