Got to get out this evening and do a little shooting.

Me and the kids got 9 this evening. Shooting with the mossy 510 mini 410 was a bit humbling. I have no idea how 4-5 of them flew away, they were 15 yards away and basically stationary when I shot. Hella great evening though. And that sweet lil thing on my left is the only reason I will ever fillet a dove breast, but she ate every bite.
I went tonight taking a friend with kids. Parked them at one spot and went to another.
Sounded like a war at their spot, with almost limits while I got 4 which were donated to their pile.

I’d take this everyday and twice on Sunday over dang doves.
I had another dove hunt this morning and caught this again on video. It was after I stood up when I saw them on top of the hill.

How has your season ended up? The last week has been good for us after a slow start.
3 times. The last 2 were better than the first.
Went 4 times so far. I'd intended to get a couple more in, but not sure if that'll happen. Deer season is too close and I got too much to do.
Had some good hunts with my son, and a good hunt with a stranger on public land that turned out to be an awfully nice kid. We shared some good conversation.
