We went up to central Kansas and shot a three man limit yesterday and today. Tons of birds around all the wheat stubble. After scouting around my place and seeing only a handful we went up north. Had a blast!
Searching for downed birds can be hazardous.
Brother and I got a limit yesterday in Boise City. Us and two guests got a limit this morning in alfalfa county.
It was very hazardous for the one i encountered.

Around Hutch and Pratt? My BIL is a farmer west of Hutch.
Hoping those hundreds of birds are near our place as well. First time to miss the opener since the late 70's, but we will be home tomorrow.
They were all around and next to you.
Now I need to visit and see where they are coming from. That place has been a traditional roost. I know that time we went there it was a bust, but we have taken many dove from that area.
I've taken lots of limits on the quarter to the south, but only when it's cut milo like it is now.
