Why don't they run rifle doe from opening rifle to the end of the year? Shutting it down for a week or 2 seems to defeat their purpose of thinning out the herd.

Oh yea, I'm available to help thin out your doe herd if you need a hand (fella with a few tags)!!!

It ending on the 9th is a misprint. Its a 16 day season that always begins the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

I like the idea someone here posted last year about a rifle doe season in October. That would be great for the heard by thinning out the does before rut.
