Good. That would be most welcome. Those coastal liberals wouldn't keep their 55 electoral college votes, and since that's where the vast majority of the liberal voters live, the electoral votes the interior state would retain wouldn't be automatically blue.

found an interesting article yesterday about how they have more rainy day funds then they know what to do with. They are also in a quandary because there is some law on the books that states if they collect too much taxes then they have to give back to the citizens of California. So they are walking a tight rope of what to spend towards infrastructure and balance what they have so that they wont have to pay back the taxes.
